We must reject lifestyles that exploit women or take advantage of people who are struggling. No woman should be treated as a source of income or used because she receives government assistance. Our community deserves better, and our children deserve to see better examples of what strength and leadership look like.
Our women have always played an important role in holding families and communities together. We believe in respecting, protecting, supporting, and empowering women, while encouraging men to take responsibility for their families, their communities, and their own futures.
The Downey Support Hub is committed to helping restore positive values and creating opportunities for both men and women to succeed. Through mentorship, sports, education, employment opportunities, community programs, and positive role models, we want to help people move forward with purpose.
